Nestled in the heart of Parkwood, Johannesburg, Aura on Chester is a luxury day spa created as a place to pause, breathe and reconnect with yourself.
We believe beauty is about so much more than how you look. It is about how you feel when you leave — cared for, confident, relaxed and glowing.
From advanced skincare and results-driven facials to massage, nails, lashes and brows, every treatment at Aura is thoughtfully performed by experienced therapists who genuinely care about your experience. Our spaces are intimate, calm and beautifully considered, allowing you to step away from the rush of everyday life.
Aura has always been about more than beauty.
One of the things we are most proud of is the role we have played in empowering women through training. Over the years, we have trained and mentored more than 500 women, many of whom have gone on to build successful careers and their own businesses.
For us, true empowerment is teaching someone how to stand on their own. We believe in teaching women to fish — giving them the skills, confidence and knowledge to create something of their own. Seeing so many of the women we have trained grow into incredible businesswomen is one of our greatest achievements.
Every corner of Aura has been created with relaxation and connection in mind.
Our Glow Bar is home to four beautiful pedicure chairs and two manicure stations, allowing you to enjoy your hands and feet at the same time — perfect when you want to make the most of your time with us.
The Garden Room is a private escape featuring two Cloud Loungers, perfect for a manicure or pedicure away from the main nail bar. Surrounded by beautiful Clivias, fig leaves and Cymbidiums, it is a peaceful space designed for two.
Our Diamond Room, with two massage beds, is perfect for sharing a treatment with someone special — from a relaxing massage to a couples facial.
The Silk Room is our private space for waxing, facials and lashes — a calm and intimate room where you can completely switch off.
And then there is our Tranquil Room — tucked away from the main salon and created as a true little escape. Quiet, private and peaceful, it is the perfect place to retreat into a relaxing treatment and forget about the outside world for a while.
And throughout Aura, our garden brings the outside in. Filled with beautiful plants and greenery, it adds a sense of calm and nature to the experience and gives you little moments of beauty wherever you look.
Even the little things make Aura feel like home. While you relax with us, Eli's car wash in our parking bay means you can even leave with a freshly washed car.
We have created Aura to be a place where you can feel safe, comfortable and completely at ease.
