Dermaplaning
Add dermaplaning to any facial. Removing dead skin and peach fuzz first means your facial's actives absorb more effectively, so you leave with an even smoother, brighter result.
Pairing with any facial.
After cleansing, your skin is dried and prepped. Your therapist holds the skin taut and uses a sterile surgical blade at a gentle angle to sweep away dead skin and fine vellus hair ('peach fuzz'). It's painless and feels a little like a light scrape. A soothing mask or serum finishes the treatment.
Wear SPF daily and avoid direct sun for a few days. Skip exfoliants, retinol and acids for 3 to 5 days, and keep make-up light for the first 24 hours.
The fine hair does not grow back thicker or darker. Dermaplaning isn't suitable over active breakouts, open lesions or sunburn. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin, and repeating every 3 to 4 weeks keeps skin consistently smooth.
